This Privacy Policy describes how CoffeeRate ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit coffeerate.com (the "Site"). We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.

1. Data We Collect

CoffeeRate does not require registration and does not collect personal data by default. The following categories of data may be processed during your use of the Site:

• Usage data: Anonymized page view counts, browser type, and general geographic region collected via privacy-respecting analytics. No IP addresses are stored beyond the processing session.
• Local storage: A single key ("ck") is written to your browser's local storage when you accept the cookie notice. This value is read only to suppress the banner on subsequent visits. No personal data is stored.
• Calculator inputs: All calculations are performed entirely in your browser. Input values are never transmitted to our servers.

2. Cookies

The Site uses one functional cookie equivalent — a local storage entry — to remember your cookie consent preference. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies are set by this Site.

If you use a browser that loads Google Fonts via the embedded stylesheet link, Google may set its own cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can prevent this by disabling stylesheets or using a privacy-focused browser extension.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where any data processing occurs, the legal basis under Article 6 GDPR is:

Anonymized analytics data is retained for no more than 14 months from the date of collection, after which it is automatically deleted. No personal data is retained because none is collected.

The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Since calculator inputs are processed entirely client-side and never transmitted, there is no server-side storage of user-submitted data to protect.

8. Children's Privacy
